Melissa Alvarez Cheek C.A.
Melissa has served as a chiropractic assistant for over 11 years. After an auto accident at age 14 she was unable to help clean the house due to headaches and low back pain. Her mother took her to a chiropractor who found the cause of the problems. After several adjustments her symptoms were gone and she was able to move without pain.
After completing high school she started working as a waitress and re-injured her low back lifting a heavy ice bin. She remembered about chiropractic and how it helped her before and made an appointment. After a few weeks of care her chiropractor offered her a job. Melissa jumped on the opportunity and started work right away. It was a new opportunity to help serve others. Since then Melissa has attended tons of seminars and has received several certifications including x-ray certification. She is the office manager at Acton chiropractic and is here to help you with any questions you have regarding your care. She also has extensive training in insurance so if you have any questions or problems she’s the one to ask. Melissa and her husband Brad reside in Candler with his children Shayna 16 and Jacob 12.
